Terms of service

The terms for using managed Fluent.

These terms govern meetfluent.app, managed Fluent accounts, and the hosted assistant integrations operated by 1001597427 ONTARIO INC.

Version 2026-07-11.3 · Effective July 11, 2026

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 to use managed Fluent. Provide accurate account information, keep access methods secure, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and connected clients.

Service availability

Managed Fluent is currently free. Features, limits, integrations, and availability may change as the product develops. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, address abuse, or maintain service reliability.

What Fluent does

Fluent stores user-approved context for Meals, Style, and budget setup and makes relevant details available to connected AI clients. Fluent is not a medical, financial-advisory, legal, emergency, or other professional service.

Fluent may require explicit approval before a connected client creates, updates, or deletes information. You are responsible for reviewing proposed actions and outputs before relying on them.

Connected services

When you connect an AI app or MCP client, that provider’s terms and privacy policy also apply. Fluent does not control the provider’s models, outputs, availability, data practices, or user interface. Third-party links, products, and retailers are provided for convenience and are not endorsements or guarantees.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of information and media you submit. You give Fluent a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and format that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to submit it.

Acceptable use

  • Do not break laws, violate another person’s rights, impersonate others, or submit content you lack permission to use.
  • Do not probe, bypass, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with managed Fluent or its security controls, except through clearly authorized security research.
  • Do not expose credentials, use Fluent for high-stakes automated decisions, or rely on outputs without appropriate human review.
  • Do not use managed Fluent to store medical information, payment-card information, passwords, government identifiers, or unlawful content.

Exports, deletion, and termination

You may export or delete account data through Manage account. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security risk, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Sections that by nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, limits, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

Open source

The Fluent open-source runtime is governed by the license and notices in its repository. If you self-host it, you—not Fluent—operate that environment and are responsible for its users, security, providers, compliance, backups, and data.

Intellectual property and feedback

Fluent branding, the managed service, and non-open-source site content remain ours or our licensors’. If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly attribute private feedback to you without permission.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, early-access Fluent is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated outputs can be incomplete or wrong.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1001597427 ONTARIO INC. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from Fluent. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the free early-access service will not exceed CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they apply only to the extent permitted.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction unless consumer law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms as Fluent changes. Material revisions will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or account email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
